Project DON’T MIIS IT contains a production of five categories: Exploring Characters, Learn Chinese, Intercultural Communication, and Teachers' Voices. The features of the podcasts are mini-clips, easy intakes, and interacting in English about learning Chinese phrases. This aims to promote Chinese learning on campus and beyond.
ICC Podcasts produce interviews and in-depth reporting with intercultural experts in language and intercultural studies, international education management, conflict resolution, translation and interpretation, and policy management.
Teachers' Voices reaches out and brings in Chinese language educators and keeps their viewpoints on teaching and learning Chinese in different programs in US. This creates synergy among teachers of Chinese and opportunities for mutual learning.
Learn Chinese are 2-3 minute mini lessons for Chinese language learners. Lessons will be conducted in an interactive format using both Chinese and English. Topics will range from simple greetings to Chinese traditions, history, and pop culture.
Exploring Characters documents the philosophy of the Chinese way of thinking reflected in a character so that users and learners can acquire both linguistic and cultural acquisition.
